Bright Light Agribusiness(BLA), one of the fastest growing private companies in the Australian almond industry required a solution for point level control. The Hattah Almond Plant is a new facility with an annual throughput of 25.000 metric tons/year and will have its own hulling and shelling, inshell-pack-out capabilities and will also be equipped to deliver a ‘pack-to-grade’ brown kernel raw-almonds product.

Objective

The client required a non-mercury tilt switch solution for use with almond stockpiles and conveyors. The tilt switch needed to be light weight and have a large enough surface area not to burry. As the switches where intended for use in automated processing lines, a stable output was also desirable to remove the need for addition signal conditioning equipment. The delivery time was also a factor in their purchasing process as the solution had a specific onsite date.

Solution

BLA found Leveltec via our webpage and pre-selected the model tilt switch they wanted using our easy to navigate tilt switch page. Submitting a request for quote online we provided a timely quote for the project and confirmed we could manufacture immediately to meet their onsite delivery date. As the selection was already made and approved by the customer using the data sheet the LP02’S went straight into production!

Conclusion

The Project was successfully delivered on time and resulted in further purchase at a later date! The customer was very satisfied that there was an Australian made solution that could be delivered for this project.
