The CITEL DPVN40CS is a Type 2 surge protection device engineered for DC photovoltaic applications, delivering reliable protection against transient overvoltages caused by switching events and indirect lightning strikes. With a high maximum discharge current (Imax) of 40 kA (8/20 µs), it offers robust performance for commercial and utility-scale PV systems.
Designed for installation at the inverter input or within combiner boxes, the DPVN40CS is ideal for systems operating up to 1000 Vdc. It combines efficient discharge capacity with a compact footprint, pluggable modules, and integrated status indication for ease of installation and maintenance.
