The CITEL P8AX Series is a range of gas discharge tube-based coaxial surge protectors designed for RF, coaxial, and antenna line protection. Engineered to safeguard sensitive equipment from lightning-induced and transient overvoltages, the P8AX series provides low let-through voltage, fast response times, and robust surge current handling, without disrupting signal integrity.
Utilising a high-performance gas discharge tube (GDT), the P8AX delivers reliable protection while maintaining low insertion loss across a wide range of frequencies. The design features a replaceable GDT core, allowing for simple, cost-effective maintenance without removing the entire device from service.
