The smart sensors are a fully integrated wireless monitoring solution for temperature, humidity, and CO2. The new DUOS InSensors transmitters are a technological update of the first models still available on the market.
The term “InSensors” suggests the main change in the implemented monitoring system. In this new format, the sensors are inside the transmitters, not having any kind of probe or cable to the outside. Thus, it is possible to have a line of smart sensors with a more compact and discreet design, facilitating installation, and reducing the awareness of their presence in the application space.
The value of air quality
In this reformulation of DUOS monitoring solutions, it is possible to direct efforts towards the design of more complete products with regard to air quality monitoring. One of the noted outcomes is the introduction of the variable “Barometric Pressure” in DUOS InCO2 and DUOS InAir transmitters, along with others variables such as temperature, humidity, and CO2.
This combination of variables makes it possible to cover a greater number of applications, reducing the number of monitoring devices needed for this purpose. Air quality monitoring has an added relevance in spaces attended by people such as museums, shopping centers, schools, public buildings, etc.
